Senior Prom Information
The Senior Prom will be here before you know it. Attached is a letter explaining details about the senior prom. Also attached are the outside guest permission forms. One form is for bringing a student from another school. The other form is if your guest is no longer in high school. If you plan on bringing someone not from Appoquinimink High School, these forms must be completed by the date advertised on the letter.

Wesley College- Ann L. Burton Pre-Collegiate Scholars Program
Interested in earning college credit while in high school? As an Ann L. Burton Scholar, you can earn up to 16 college credits tuition free. To qualify, you must achieve a minimum score of 1500 on the PSAT, SAT-1, or a minimum composite score of 22 on the ACT and attain a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0. Roth Scholarship 2012- deadline Friday, February 3rd
Each year, the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce honors a New Castle County high school student with the William V. Roth Citizenship Award, which includes a $1,000 scholarship funded by local businesses. We are currently seeking nominations for high school students who demonstrate outstanding citizenship characteristics including volunteerism, community involvement and strong academic performance. This scholarship award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner on March 5, 2012.

Boy's State 2012- Open to Junior Males interested in Government
At Boy’s State, participants will experience the basic ideals and principals of American government. Students will spend a week of working together with other high school students from across the state learning about legislative sessions, court proceedings and law enforcement. Participants will create a state through the election of public officials and carry out the duties of those offices during the week long program. Students will spend 5 days residing on Wesley College campus (June 10-14), Attend County Day in May and the program is free
